Shane Harris, founder of civil rights nonprofit People's Association of Justice Advocates, stopped by our table at City of Lemon Grove's Arbor Day event! In his Instagram post, he says, “I had a great conversation with @tree.sandiego about their work of getting more trees planted across our community and the positive environmental impacts of growing more trees.” Harris is a powerful individual who advocates for lasting, impactful change in a multitude of communities. He has acquired many roles over the years as a national civil and human rights activist, foster care reformer, ordained minister and political analyst.
