April 2025: Graduating the Spring 2025 Treejectory+ Cohort

Celebrating Our Spring 2025 Treejectory+ GraduatesWe’re proud to announce the graduation of 28 participants from our Spring 2025 Treejectory+ Workforce Training Program, marking a major milestone in our mission to grow a more equitable and resilient urban forestry workforce. With this cohort, Tree San Diego has now trained and graduated 195 individuals since the program’s launch in Spring 2023. 

Throughout the 5-week paid program, participants completed up to 40 hours of hybrid instruction—online and in the field—covering essential topics such as: 

• Hands-on Field Training

• Urban Forestry Fundamentals & Tree Biology

• Tree Identification, Planting & Maintenance

• Environmental Justice & Climate Resilience

• Career Pathways in Sustainability, Conservation & Arboriculture

By the end of the program, graduates gained real-world experience, built professional networks, and developed new skills to pursue careers in urban greening, environmental restoration, and public works. 

We’re deeply inspired by the passion and dedication of this cohort, and we look forward to seeing the positive change they’ll bring to San Diego’s communities and beyond!
